Outstripping. Poem by Peter Vealey

Outstripping.

Want to live,
Pillar to pole
Ice to soul.
Ragged to roll.
Want to be,
Sometimes, someone
The next a non-entity.
Want to live,
For chewing the scroll.
Outliving the role,
Not facing the 'dole'.
