Over And Over Poem by Cody Huber

Over And Over

I close my eyes and feel the rain.
I hold my breath and block the pain.
Thickness sets into the air its hard to breathe but this moment is so rare.
Fall leaves crunch beneath my feet, as I take one single step.
The stale cold bitterness of the morning mist, makes me feel all alone, but these memories I have kept.
The silence accompanies the rain as I stand alone.
Rather then my heart being split into two I'd more likely break my bones.
The forbidden cry I try to hide creeps it's way back up.
The expression that's wicked in it's silent way let's them read my like a open book.

I really like this poem. There is a lot of emotion and I can picture it easily in my head. Good job!
