Over Faith Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Over Faith

Rating: 5.0

Why to fight for reasons over faith?
When it is certain and sure for death
No one taught me to be impatient
At least with sick mind to be patient

No where I read to be orthodox
With belief or otherwise to be in box
Where four walls are strongly built
And shed blood with feeling guilt

What a peace I get when pray?
Closely I feel and mentally stay
As permanently aligned with invisible force
That has remained as inspirational source

Nothing appears when I look at the open sky
I recollect about divine forces and try
To think of oneness with soul so pure
To make resolve in mind for bright future

Have we not witnessed enough of bloodshed?
Where has it taken us for granted or led?
I had been blinded or simply dead
With some narrow thinking material to read

I know that no one may shed any tears
All that I have personally to bear
I have only one world to remember
“Oh god, lead me kindly with light to enter

I enter with no wordy duals
As divine forces are equal
With nothing to hide and everything to give
“Let people spend time peacefully and forgive

No religion may help or come out
To spread hatred or talk about
Let us build and environment friendly
Atmosphere to live with cautiously
