Overshadowed

You have always ruled
and fooled the world
into believing that whatever has been told
it is real and soul is never sold

I was overshadowed
but did not allow
it to over caste
and took no decision in haste

I always relented to inner call
and fell against the impressive wall
with no intention to stall
but sail along the love stream

who shall not dream the heaven?
and stay happily driven
but this was not the case so
I had to fall in line with and go along

love was, in no means, really a ladder
that always took you higher
stayed as my idol
and stole the show
