Oxymoron Of Self Poem by Pen Anthony

Oxymoron Of Self

Rating: 4.8

Sometimes i am happy soul
Wanting to be around people
Making merry
Sometimes i want to be alone
Wishing people were buildings or trees
That i never had to interact with

I wish people left me alone
That nobody cared about my existence
Sometimes i want the spotlight on me
That people paid attention to me

Sometimes all i want to do is
Whisper loudly
That nobody hears
But everybody understands
That i want people close to me
That leave me alone
