Pain And Love Poem by jordan russell

i now know what love is
it's not all fun and games
it comes with a price and it comes with pain

if and when it ends
you think you can't go on that you might die
but for that short time your with them you feel like you can fly

their pain becomes your pain
and thier sorrow becomes your sorrow
you share feelings as you become one
and it's possibly the best feeling in the world

when your in thier arms you feel safe, loved, and like your in heaven
you want time to freeze and to stay in their arms forever
but you know it's not that simple
for if love was that easy
everyone would have a lover

and now

at night you lay in bed and cry yourself to sleep
becasuse he left you for the one he loved before
you cry yourself to sleep because you know hes gone
you cry because it's over and you still love him

as tears run down your face and onto your pillow
you scream and you fight the pain
but in the end you know nothing can fill that huge gaping hole
that is now forever in your chest

no matter how many times he said he loved you
no matter how mant times he promised
hes not coming back this time

i now know what love is

it comes with an unbearable price
and unfortinuitly it comes with pain
