Painful memory

It is really painful
to remain calm and peaceful
at the news of the sudden demise
the death of mother really surprised all of us

just a few days back
she was taken to the hospital
in breathless condition
this added more concern

I was far and serving the motherland
at night the telegram was received about her end
I just broke down into tears
who shall now take my care?

as and eldest son
I was attached to her as she was a kind-hearted woman
not only as a mother but as a human
she listened to all and shared their concern

no one would like to hear
about the death, especially when it is about mother
you try to roll back your memory
and with the tears feel very much sorry

the child knows about the condition
and its attachment as a human being
when the mother is around all the times
to take care and sometimes fume about
