Painted Black Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Painted Black

I painted black
With so much of sans at stake
Her eyes revealed time's shadow
That had taken her precious years away

I could only bring her plight on canvass
It had reflection of misery and past
It showed nothing about her intention!
But showed her as rock to defend human relation

I wanted to show changing phase
From day to evening with all the cases
Sing in praise despite facing odds
That was hell bent to add

I sang and re-sang
With dedicated approach and acts
I could feel morning sun
As well as passing of its run

Poetry I felt was best
To stand and test
The time as well as position
Without any confusion
