Pair of Limericks
Serious Limerick:
'Good day' my lone rosebud of June
I await your velvety bloom
Floribunda princess
Flower of finesse...
How sweet is your soothing perfume.
Humorous Limerick:
Jack knitted a new pair of socks
In the deep red colour of hollyhocks
His friends formed a queue
They wanted some too
But Jack fell ill with chickenpox.
