Papa I Saw Her Again Poem by Chef Sanzy Muna

Papa I Saw Her Again

Rating: 5.0

I saw that beautiful girl I told you
about,
The one I had used and dumped
without remorse,
The one I gave my fake kisses,
The one I had promised the universe
and only gave her my cold heart,
I never called to wish her goodnight
because I was to busy with another,
I was to stupid to realize she was
getting feed up,
She was giving up on us and
especially my daily lies,
I saw her today
She was driving a small red car there
by the road,
I think its her birthday gift from her
new boyfriend,
If I recall well it was last week,
She looked more happy than before,
I see she found true happiness in life,
She was tired of my lifelessness,
I assume she has gained a little
weight I couldn't see her in there,
I saw her eyes they were bright they
had no sign of a single cry,
I saw her lips they looked
moisturized not like when I usually
left them so dry,
I saw her hands their was no trace of
my beatings,
She looked beautiful not a single drop
of pain,
Papa why did I have to lose her,
She was my black coffee but I treated
her like my blank trophy,
Her beauty was evident but I was a
criminal I erased all the beautiful
evidence,
Her cheeks were softer but I had
never caressed them,
She was a provider but I treated her
like my intruder,
Her heart was bigger than me but I
burnt it to ashes,
Like the trashcan I took her good
nature for me to the trashes,
Ohh papa why didn't you warn me?
Son listen I told you every woman is
a treasure,
Look at your mother her love I can't
measure,
She has been my pillar with no filter,
She has been my moon at the darkest
moment,
She was with me when in my worst
torment,
So son every woman is like a lemon
juice,
is either you taste it row or make
lemonade,
Treat her with patience and she will
give you romance,
Treat her with roses and she will give
you love,
Treat her with chocolates and she
will give you kisses,
Treat her with attention and she will
blame God for not bringing you
sooner,
So son make your Choices..

Beautifully written and love the way the father elaborated the value of woman. Right direction to disruptive thoughts bears fruits of love. My compliments.

Wonderful mixture of a poem and a masque narrating the troubled thoughts in a soliloquy form. Enjoyed the repentance part of the son and glorification of women in general by Papa in reply to queries. Thanks for sharing.10 points.
