Parallel Poem by Naliorf Oning

Parallel

Our lives are parallel lines never intersecting.
We have reached a certain understanding.
I'll always be admiring from afar never touching.
You'll be free from my attention begging.

You are recuperating from a failed relation.
Whom am I to abuse you vulnerable condition.
Eventhough for you I only have good intentions.
You gave me peace of mind, my own salvation.

I've gamble with my feelings, I've betted all.
My attempt for you was futile, struck a iron wall.
You've built for you heart should I be appalled.
My feelings for you is my own sweet downfall

Reading between hidden lines and empty spaces.
Looking beyond the emptiness and absences.
In a standstill searching for a familiar embrace.
I hope this time around you'll remember my face.

Both of us lock in a battle of wills is such tiring.
If I'm defined in your life as no longer interesting.
I'll gladly give way to someone who's more deserving.
Maybe I'm just way off wrong in my own timing.

You say that Im way to fast and way to blind.
But I know only in your arms I am defined.
I'll stay in the sideline for a moment waiting to find.
The right time when our feelings would be aligned.
