Paranoia Poem by Alc Harris

Paranoia

Rating: 4.7

Trapped in chaos, thoughts untamed
I want to focus, let calm remain,
Afraid these thoughts, escape my head
Embarrassed by, the things I said,
Do they know me, I cant be sure,
Do they hate, my every word.
Are they waiting, for me to speak,
I can’t bear it, I can’t breath.
Hissing whispers, turning minds,
Forever leaving, me behind,
Short sharp glances, from spying eyes,
Tongues on fire, spitting lies,
My soul has withered, from all this pain,
They’re laughing laughing; I burn with shame,
Am I dying, starved of air,
Smiling faces, stop and stare,
I can’t bear it, I can’t breathe,
I can’t stand it, I can’t breathe,
I can’t endure it,
I need to leave.
