can I ask your name?
You see, I'm mesmerized by your eyes

but my friends call me Anne

I don't think anyone's told me that before

what a beautiful name you have
Do you mind if I take you out somewhere?
Catch a movie, eat some dinner?

That'd be mighty fine with me
but I'd first like to know your name
Can you please give it to me?
maybe we'll do more than just this petty game

And you look beautiful tonight
