Parody Of Jack And Diane Poem by Ryan Brodesser

Parody Of Jack And Diane

Little ditty, about the Na’vi

Living on Pandora happy and free

Everyone’s happy, living off the land

But those humans have something else planned

Shooting down those fancy machines

Old fashion riding and using bows

Yeah, it’s all fun, killing those marines

But hey they fight dirty

By trying to win by any means

So we call up a call up some help

As they try to blow us to smithereens

That's right

Oh yeah, Eywa goes on

Summoning friends, so we can run on

Say a

Oh yeah the fight goes on

We’ll keep fighting, until we’ve won

Shoot! attack, we’re gone

The commander sits back

And thinks for a moment

Scratches his head, and does his best Kilgore

Well you know we’ve got to hit them

Hit em where it hurts

But where could that be?

A marine says sir?

Why not nuke their tree?

And he says,

Oh yeah!

The fight goes on

Till we’ve killed, all those savage spawn

Oh yeah the war goes on

Long after we win, and defeat is yon

Goanna fight

Goanna kill

Blow stuff up

And let blood spill

Hold on to our way, as long as you can

Changes are coming soon, they've got a plan

And they ain't going to stop until we’ve ran

Oh yeah, the life goes on

Till we’ve won and the humans are gone

Oh yeah life goes on

Till we’ve won, and start a new dawn

Little ditty, about the Na’vi

Just a people, trying to live free
