Passive Entertainment



In a trance,
Passive entertainment fits his playbill,
Engaging his eyes and mind,
If not his body
Watching and learning but doing little earning,
The days wash past as the screen flickers from many action-oriented motions
Various tropes of television media enthrall him,
Keeping him amused until it all becomes hazy
Even after the material becomes blended to him,
The shows must go on
