Pastel Paradise Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

Pastel Paradise

Floundering household,
Floundering fish, quite able to be cooked outside
Outside, where some colors go bright
Working hard to get the colors right,
Wanting so badly to eat well and live in a pastel paradise
Whatever it takes, however the bargain varies,
The goal is to wear in pale
He feels at ease in such hues,
Even aware it may spook the animals that appear as monsters,
Or the monsters who appear as friends
