I feel the frustration in your write. If relationships were easy we would all be in one, and most of them would last. Unfortunately, the opposite appears true. No great words of wisdom here, just empathizing with your situation.

For her still, a slight smile, however wounded the look It hardly matter that she gets mad, as we'll work on getting even later Still playing catch-up with her, love and relationship....... a big question also. remember love is always a mystery. A great poem. tony

I'm more exasperated and disappointed with the person the piece is about. My life isn't so hot right now anyways, so her choice of approach is just another drop in the bucket. She knows by now who I am, and not to be so reckless, but she just does whatever she wants anyway.

Maybe if we can see a tired plant has no will to stand up straight, wilted...may we can help the plant to treat the self root first, to bring more volume of green then bring all the flowers bloom around...then you may see some butterflies or even birds come around. Dont feel bad too much, you yourself too have a life that supposedly not to be wasted by sadness, enriched yours then only you can slowly fix what you want. Take care and all the best!
