Past Things Poem by Derek Ouyang

Past Things

Green pearls glowing in the yellow light
Dance and sway like leaves in your hair
Vanilla ice cream caressing my tongue
Tastes like morning dew upon your skin
A door handle that feels cold to the touch
The buttons on my dashboard I've never used
The littlest things remind me of you now
