Paths Without A Logic Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Paths Without A Logic

These times are different.
Much different than they were.
Yet few accept that difference,
With a quickness this occurs.

Some want their past.
Back the way it was.
Keeping from them distant,
An awareness these times serve.

People grow to age.
But their minds are kept delayed.
With a keeping themselves distant.
From all the changes that are made.

Their paths are stunted.
Fearing what comes next.
Their steps to make them,
Leaves them afraid and out of breath!

Paths without a logic.
Has left them pathological.
Where is that compass,
Once considered normal.
Who made dysfunction,
A destination wished to want.

Paths are stunted.
Fearing what comes next.
That normal compass once to use,
Has left so many scared to death.
And pathological.
A destination wished to want.
Who made dysfunction,
A destination wished to want.
Where is that compass.
And the logic.
Who made dysfunction,
Pathological.
And a function wished to want.
