Paul Delivered To Felix Poem by Doris Clore Demaree

Paul Delivered To Felix

Because he was a Christian
Paul always
Was in danger.
He was in jail-and out of jail.
But wherever he went he told
About Jesus.
Angry men tried to kill him.
They put him in jail.
And bound him with chains.
Even the commander was afraid for Paul.
'Take him to Felix,' the commander said.
'Felix will protect him.'
The soldiers came
On their horses
And did as they were told.
For awhile Paul was safe.
