Paul Is Shipwrecked Poem by Doris Clore Demaree

Paul Is Shipwrecked

Paul traveled everywhere he could
To tell people about Jesus.
'Jesus is Lord,' he said. 'Believe in him.'
Strange things happened.
Sometimes he was in jail.
He often wrote Bible letters you have read.

At last he was imprisoned on a boat
To be sent to jail in Rome.
'You had better not sail!' Paul said.
'The storms will come
And the ship will sink.
You will have only a little bread.'

But unbelieving they sailed away,
Afraid of their life more and more.
But it happened just as Paul said it would.
They were saved by wading to shore.
