Peace Can Conquer Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Millions of heart in future
If that guarantees means for peaceful existence
Without fear and without accidental chance

Hiroshima and Nagasaki has failed
Iran and Iraq has witnessed enough of bloodshed
Afghanistan is still proving an ulcer
The neighboring countries have developed sign of cancer

Peace is at large and can be called distinct possibility
No peace move has shown any kind of respectability
There prevails confusion and mistrust
People have lost faith and complete trust

Peace may not fall from sky
We only have to sit and try
Come to the terms acceptable to all
Peace is only way out from further fall

O world leaders, put halt to mad ventures
Why do we want to witness ugly future?
Future generation may not pardon us for treachery
The dark clouds on horizons have appeared already

Give peace a little impetus
Increase frequency and mutually discuss
The people will cooperate and give consent
We all pray and wish for good sense to be present
