Peaceful Come Poem by Ragy Sandid

Peaceful Come

Peaceful come
And ask “Who are you? ”
Were you born of one parent or two
If all that applies to all applies to you
Then why do you think you’re special
And no one else is too?

Peaceful come
Life was what it is before you knew
You’re the addition, the one that’s new
But because you still don’t know
Life still won’t offer a clue

Peaceful come
We’re all stuck together by glue
Separated to pieces, shaped to size
And meant for a purpose too
To think white is better than black
Or brown is better than yellow
What a waste on something totally untrue

Peaceful come
Change is waiting but waiting for it won’t do
It clings to hope and hope….
Hope is an end itself, all things end too
What starts one day, ends one day
And days move on to one day
One day draws the line between rosy and blue

Peaceful come
We all share this world
What’s meant for me is meant for you
How we deal with it deals us
Into people that need joining too
Thanks for a lot things around you
When you give that kind of thanks
How long will it be
Till someone thanks you?
