Peasant Prince Poem by Casual Anarchy

Peasant Prince

Breaking away from the crowd
No one to say I'm too loud
I'm the begger with a crown
And I'm lucky I didn't drown
In the pressure
Now I've broken out
Nothin to pout about
Anymore, no more chores
What a snore
They had been, no more life of sin
I can sleep in
And I see eye to eye
With all, my empire will never fall
Cuz everybody stands tall
Nobody cares bout your father and your mother
When I look at you don't cover
Your face, don't give into the injustice
That is the human race
Walk to your own pace
People! Come out of your daze
Like in the old days
When we were equal in every way
We weren't girls and guys
We were just people distinguishing the lies
I once would have sighed
I would cry
To the children, 'Don't fight'
Happiness isn't earned by might
I've walked out of or perhaps into the light
You decide who lives or died
Sever the ties and get high off the powerlessness
I am the final test
To surpass the rest
Will you pass or will you fail
Run free or go to jail
Its your duty to put the nail
In my coffin
