Perfect Fits Poem by Young Heart

Perfect Fits

Your palms against his palms
your head in the nook of his arms
nurtured by the warmth of summer
your passions shall last forever.

His lips on your cheeks
his hands on your hips
you are his favourite hoop
as he scored a three pointer with you.

Your eyes roaming his body
tongues swirling freely
like a lock with its key
only you can unlock him

His head on your lap
his fingers through your hair
you are his original song
as he serenaded you all night long

Two old souls crossing roads
strangers who clicked on the first note
together under the star-filled sky
twirl a dance to win a prize...
