Perhaps I Already Should Be Silent Poem by Shalom Freedman

Perhaps I Already Should Be Silent

Perhaps I already should be silent
Perhaps it is already enough
But one day
Not far from now perhaps
I will be silent

And now
Not being silent
Is a kind of
Enhancement of life

So I suppose
I will continue trying
To not be silent

To write my little lines
And call them poems
And feel when I have written them
That I still can do
And have done
a little something
