Pertinent Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Pertinent

Pertinent, print, pint, pin pit, pin, rent;
With a note of caution,
In the land of the living.

The muse of life!
Suggested with the same vein;
Pertinent, tin, ten, net, pen, pine, tent!

Activities,
Cultism!
In the schools;
With the status of the land.

Identifications!
With challenges;
Muse,
First and foremost;
With the ways of the people.

Lust!
over the years;
pertinent!
With the muse of electtricity and water;
And, with poor facilities.

Pertinent,
With the pollution of the river;
Because of illegal mining,
In the land of your muse!
Prospecting for gold.

Story, promontory!
Pertinent,
Like a colonail edifice;
In the land of your abode,
With the very ways of the people!
And, in the schools.
