Philosopher Poem by Della Perry

Philosopher

Rating: 4.0

Therefore, I have no answers
No reasons echo in my empty cavity of mind
Solutions are hidden in complexity cupboards
Doors jammed shut with rhyme
Responses ran away in opposite directions
Like will'o'wisps disappearing in little clouds of haze.
An unidentified woman
Nameless; retorted air
Just questions;
They mean nothing
Just unanswered
Questions.

''Therefore, I have no answers'' ''You should never listen to the answers of philosophers, but you should listen to their questions'' - surely a wise saying ''I have so many unanswered questions too.'' - all of us have.. ;)

i see i said (and probably did) i put this in a showcase two years ago. i must have been more philosophically-inclined at that time, i just read it again and don't care for it so much, but, YES, i STILL like, nay LOVE complexity cupboards. as happened THREE years ago, i still don't care for (understand) the last 1/2 of the poem. ; ( ha ha ha. bri (:

All the answers that you seek are found in the deepest sleep there is unfortunately most of us are so tired from trying to survive that they stay beneath the dream's of day or night.. iip

“complexity cupboards” …………’love’ it. “An unidentified woman Nameless; retorted air Just questions; ” …………..i’m lost a bit here. can you tell me why? oh, that is asking for an answer; pardon me. :) favorite lines: “Responses ran away in opposite directions Like will'o'wisps disappearing in little clouds of haze.” a neuroscientist wanted to study my brain once. but she found no neurons, so she sent me home. bri :)
