There's photographs all down the old house hall
The mantle peace and faded kitchen walls
Memories of time and day's gone by
Of mum and dad the kids and you and I

There's boys and girls with laughing eyes
Old top hats and old bow ties
Puppy dogs and householdpets
A uniform and a wedding dress

There's photographs of tractors stuck in mud
Old tin roofs with rust a red as blood
Oldgum trees we climbed when we where boys
A swimming hole and long forgotten toys

There's boys and girls with laughing eyes
Old top hats and old bow ties
Puppy dogs and household pets
A uniform and a wedding dress

Photographs all down the old house hall
Memories of of our country's call
Memories of times and days gone by
Of mum and dad the kids and you and I
