Piano Poem by Sunita Chandla

Rating: 5.0

A piano class

This world of music was simply ecstatic

The young artists kept playing candidly at it

The melodies made the memories, mumbling around

Each prancing finger made those feet
tapping around.

It swept the thoughts in swirling speed

One just had to close eyes and pay heed

Paintings placed on wall plumed out
stories,

Of youth in yonder and all those pretty babies

In illusion they were hopping with joy

And a smart chase was in the ploy.

Could hear a surge of waves dancing with fish
Children running on the beach with their toys to swish!

Some deep and bass sounds delved so deep

A smiling face could suddenly turn to weep.

God bless the teacher and her budding stars
Warming hearts of their loved ones, just like mars
All children in this world don't get these lucky hours
Who are packed with potential n interest,
same as of ours!

Time to thank the Almighty to help me be a part today,
To hear my grand daughter play on piano on her recital day!

The world of music attracts youngsters very much. Music is liked by all aged persons. The melodies make memories in mind and sound of music mumbles ever. Experience gained in a piano class is beautifully presented in this excellently drafted poem. Slow, pleasing and sweet music motivates minds of others and heals mental illness....10
