crayons begin outlining colour
pencils bring out silver clouds
sketching a picture of sorrowful doubts
paint smears all around
trying to look for something that was never to be found
as chalks dust the sheet, that is half back and half coloured in white
staining the hand prints that stay out of sight
memories draw the atmosphere I
still can't seem to fight my fear -
as clearness fades
and gallery's stand without a scaffold
not a structure or mark
these images on my walls print photographs of a picture perfect life '
