Pigeon Poem by Foster Teegarden

Pigeon

Captivating, that's what I'd say
of this woman amongst these girls.
Comparison, none in that day.
For this woman, the guys did curls.

Gargantuan is what it was
for this woman to be your date.
This one poor man, well he got buzzed.
For this woman, he was just bait.

In secession from his own pack,
asked the woman to the big night.
Back with a grin, never stopped his yack.
For this woman, he'd go through plight.

What could you want better than this?
Got this woman decked out in heels,
until the hand of handsome his
met the woman. She broke the deal.

That damned falcon, swift and so bold,
took that woman for the meantime,
while our pigeon, with none to hold
eyed the woman. 'She should be mine.'

The horizon fell to darkness
and the woman had jolly fun.
Other oxen too with mistress,
but this woman had the falcon.

Graduation was around the block.
For this woman it wasn't though.
The poor man, done behind a lock.
For this woman had sent a blow.

His ego none, he disappeared,
saw the woman in few photos.
Zero with him. Let himself bleed,
For this woman stole mementos.
