Pigments of Love
My eyes
Were glazed over before,
All veins
Have the gelid water
Hot blood nor
Are we lost
In the face of destiny
Or full of power?
Spectral colors
Dye the time
Each hour
A second coat of paint
Should cover,
Pigments of love
In her Irises

interesting metapho; you certainly have a way with words; had to loo up 'gelid' new to me :)
Exceptional, my friend. The true
poet always gives himself away
in words.
Blessings from,
Sandra
A thousand coats of paint could not hide the beauty of this poem. Well done my friend.
