Playin In The Moonlight By Gio Masserati Poem by Gio Masserati

Playin In The Moonlight By Gio Masserati

Fully Illuminated moon hung
lowly and humble

As heavenly stars swang
Back and forth
To and fro
Swinging Bright

They suspended
Their brilliant glow

Soon the setting crimson sun
Decided to jump in

It was touch and go

Enchanting~really

As we started to spin
Off our axis

Round n round
Faster n faster

Then, right before
I decided to jump off
The gentle earth slowed down
As smooth as a clock

The great astronomical body
Relaxed

The stars began to smile
Resuming their play
Until another day
Tucked in by sun

Their were many witness
To the orbits events
Fortunate for them
They were taken up on a ride

An excursion of sorts
Coerced by playing stars
Up and away
By tiny tungsten spaceships

Just playin in the moonlight

You have great imagination, something that by default makes everything you write an enthralling read and an unexpected journy. Lovely write! ~
