Playing The Strings (Hot Resin Over The G String) Poem by Eila Mahima Jaipaul

Playing The Strings (Hot Resin Over The G String)

Just one touch of the bow sent shivers
across the strings of her violin as she
began to sing her melody of passion.
Soft and gentle it stroked until she was
giving off notes an octave above euphoria.
the cadence of the bow escalated
beginning to see saw it's way
deep in reverberating tones
The hair of the bow began to smoke as
it melted the hot resin over her G string.
