Pleasant Spell Poem by Benjamin Wiche

Pleasant Spell

Rating: 5.0

Blossom like a plant smiling at it's first sunshine'
I never beheld a more radiant smile,
So pleasant like the early morning dew,
As she approached the parking lot,
shopping bag in tow,
Embraced by a shower of varieties,
Of people at the mall opening,
All juggling freebies,
A mall at last, camera flash here and there,
A rain of excitement in the heart of the city,
But the excitement in my heart had a lot to do
with the ring box in my breast pocket,
which had so much story to tell about a love,
our love and the cupid spell.
