Please, Give Me Love.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Please, Give Me Love....

Rating: 5.0

please, don't give me peaches
the peaches are too sweet to be true

please, don't give me smiles
the smiles don't feel true real

please don't give me love
the love does not mean anything if you don't mean

please, give me your shoulders
there upon I at least can lean

that gesture
is a gesture of love

that love is pure that comes straight from your caring heart

how do I know that?

love needs no words
love only needs deeds

that you have shown
that I have now known....

To ask for lending shoulder is greater and bigger than all wealth on earth. Only those who love snd care will do that. During this corona time people are scared to touch, shake hands, give hug hence it become more so special when someone offer his or her shoulder. A thoughtful Poem. 100++
