I ran away from all sweets imaginable,
I stayed away from them.
But there was one so tangible,
It was a plum pudding in a dish.
This plum pudding represented,
The most delicious kind of flavor,
With nature's own savory savor.
I wanted to eat the plum pudding.
Once then, a tiny boy crossed my path.
He ate some plum pudding too.
But he asked me for mine,
And I gave him to him too.
The boy's mirth in eating it,
Was so great,
That the plum pudding in my mind,
Did my appetite sate.
