Poem For A Victim Woman Poem by Marieta Maglas

Poem For A Victim Woman

Rating: 5.0

Her life with him was a true and terrible
continuation of sad illusions, waiting to
spit out all his amazing love spiral and
much more, waiting to imprint his frozen

and bloody memory on some damp shores
of her mind left by the inundating waves.
Everything had passed as a sad part of
this numbness. Reality has died.

This invisible wall between them was simply
built with hip movements until she finally
woke up and instead of feeling love,
she only felt a terrible dream. With

bloodshot eyes and weary bones,
she understood her fears and confusions.
The winds of change stirred her muted dreams.
She lost hope and she suffered from delusions,

even though she could have survived like
a golden oldie. She was told that nothing
good could happen after a rude awakening
in the deep depths of her life. His purpose

was only power and prey, and reality still
distorts and distorts their happiness.
What could have been remains an endless
attempt to become herself again.

She still hopes to survive, acting in
her lackluster feminine structure as if
her unique dream of pure love is still alive
while she searches for a new home.

Your message in the poem outweighs the poetry that could possibly be, still it is very good poetry.
