O my dear! do you know why I love thee?
In your eyes I do find every beauty.
When you spend hours with me with smiling face
My heart begins to dance in happiness.

When the travellers become weary in spring,
The cuckoo's sweet notes make them fresh and green.
Your words are sweeter than its melody.
Every time they make me fresh and happy.

A rose charms us with its smell and beauty
But once it loses its charm and beauty.
But your rosy lips will entice me e'er
As their beauty and fragrance will end ne'er.

Your beauty and Love touch my heart so deep
That without you I can't think of my life.
