Poet-Medium for society

I call myself a poet
true man with human feelings and of quiet nature
who sees no ill will
and still goes on

I know we have different nature and temperament
the style for presentation also differ
the viewpoints are different
still, they form a nice pattern at present

sun, moon, mountains never change
we see them daily and manage
with our temperament
and present it in a glorious manner

basically, we are all sentimental people
and feel so much about other individuals
who really suffer life's cruelty
and bear the onslaught of poverty

the poet has a special obligation
towards people and nation
as someone should hear their woe
and go for its alleviation

life may not be the same
for us to claim
the happiness for everybody
as it is rested in the hands of an almighty

poetry has got an inner vision
that leaves no room for confusion
it has a powerful insight for infusion
and equally strong will for defusion too
