even critics realize
artists pass through
differing artistic goals

it was a young goal
to achieve different
meanings on different

levels
but not
for all poems

confessional poetry

I have been accused
of writing only complicated
hard to understad poems

but in reality
there is a mix
as we pass

through phases
of topic interest
catching disdarding motif

stand alone poems
series inclusive poems
diverse theme poems

love of a poet
may par with love
of the reader

poem topics diverse
written for the many
the few or the one

read on risk
finding a nugget
finding nothing

interest is tsunami level
incomng tide push waves
or pattern water ripples

hypnotizing a child
on sandy seashore fixated
or lost viewing rocky seashore pools
