Poetry - simple revolution

If poetry suffers from the lacuna
and presents no agenda
then it is very much due
for all of us to view

give some punch
and thrust to reach
at the defined goal
and earnestly call

why blood shall be shed?
why make earth red?
with innocent falling as dead
why not we read in between the lines?

No to all madness
no war or chase
for whites, blacks
as humanity is at stake

we are striving hard
with affirmative words,
and look forward despite hurdles
we are strong and determined to solve the puzzle
