here we are
we write
inorder to live

without these
words
we die

here we are
we write because
words are water
words are bread

here we are
(we did not wish
fame we only wish
to heal)

poets heal yourselves
tighten the grip
savor the grief

imagine, imagine farther
and if you jump
you must learn to transcend.
