Polyacrostic Sonnet - Journal Poem by Jonathan ROBIN

Polyacrostic Sonnet - Journal

Rating: 5.0

JOURNAL

PUT INTO LETTERED LINES OUR WORDS EACH DAY,
INTO a mode whose code Love understands,
LETTERED keys which music make, join hands,
LINES whose melody may tireless play.
OUR thoughts are precious, even day-to-day
WORDS transmute Life's dross to golden bands, -
EACH adding thought-grains to its neighbour's sands
DAY in, day out, forms subtle interplay
LEAVING EXPRESSED THOSE THOUGHTS - ETERNAL RAY.
EXPRESSED, ideas communicate Truth's stands.
THOSE inklings, small at first, the mind expands,
THOUGHTS take frsh forms, new powers, others sway.
ETERNAL ray within you waits to shine,
RAY which your heart may splice to hopes of mine?

External Acrostic: Pillowed Letter
Internal Acrostic: Put into lettered lines our words each day leaving expressed those thoughts – eternal ray
