Poor Grandson Poem by SALUM BHOKI

Poor Grandson

help! help! help!
the voice of an old blind man
with his deserted grand son
whose mother has fled to town

the mother's father's voice
urging vendors and customers
at the market place
to give them money for food

on their way home
poor grandson!
gets knocked down
by his mother's new man

beside the driver
sits the grandson's mother
going to acquaint her father
her new man before marriage.

Actions of individual consciences gets connected through laws in nature which determines individual faiths. Story is sad but that's what their faiths.carried for them. Wonderfully written. Thanks for sharing.
