Poor Little Girl
Tears and blood
stain the floor, and
a little girl shrieks for help.
She cries.
She hopes.
She prays.
A sadistic monster
laughs and slaps her across
the face.
He hits.
He stabs.
He shoots.
Later when the cops arrive
and wonder what had happened,
the walk inside,
only to find their bodies on the floor.

Horrifying images, provocative descriptions in plain and simple words, visualizing the scene vividly as if the reader was an eyewitness in this heartbreaking crime, simply amazing.
