Possession Poem by Anya Garcia

Possession

This poem is not my own words but rather the words being told to me and the way they were processed through my head, the words were not worded this way, but this is how he made me feel....a long time ago.

I don't want you but, I need you for my obsession of possession.

'No, I'm not jealous, so call me when you get there and tell me what
time you're coming home. Are you going with friends or alone? '

I don't care really but, I need to feed my obsession for possession.

'Why are you crying? , just stop complaining, come on just deal
with it, you're not trying.'

I don't feel like listening but, I gotta say my 2 cents for my obsession of possession.

'Wow, you look older in that picture, never mind that you did your hair...make up...added some spice...oh I mean yeah, yeah you look nice.'

I had to point that out because of my obsession for possession.

'I'll marry you one day, when you meet my expectations because right now I still want to play.'

I have to keep my options open but, still keep you for my obsession
of possession.

'You always want to fight, you're so aggressive..it's not a big deal and you always want to be right.'

I need you to be more submissive because of my obsession for possession.

'You always change your mind, yes or no, so double minded...can't you make up your mind? ! '

I need you to be sure because of my insecure obsession of possession.

'Forget what you've compromised and all that you've done, what have I gained? What have I won? '

It can't be about you and/or us.
It's only what I see, hear, feel, want or need because of my obsession with possession.

.....Needles to say I am no longer your possession......
