You are the mother of Jealousy
Possessiveness..! !
You breed Despair
Possessiveness..! !
You destroy Peace
Possessiveness..! !
Is not your name Selfishness?
Possessiveness..! !
You are the antonym of Love
But still..
Knowing who you are
Knowing what you can do
Why do they embrace you..?
Why do they cradle you..?
Or is it you who embraces them..?
Is it you who cradles them..?
Why don’t you let them allow spaces..?
You broke my sister’s heart
You welled my brother’s eyes
Still…
They love you..
They embrace you..
Why do they not realize..?
Possessiveness…! !
I hate you…
I hate you to the core..! ! !
Good poem. Sincere represention of true emotions. But, the poet seems to be too much possessive on the aspect of non-possessiveness.
I like this a lot Aji. We so easily mistake possesion for love, then it comes and bites us on the rear. Keep em coming. Andy
