Potency Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Potency

A potency of collected facts,
Can only remain like that intact.
If not on a daily basis questioned.
With a potency losing,
Its effectiveness and interest.
To then become suspected as a tool,
Used to undermine the finding...
Of those performing deceiving acts,
Had been actually known for doing that.

And the people disinterested,
In facts to be revealed.
Could care less if this should mean,
Having their delusions replaced...
With evidence of truth.
Most have become to feel,
Offended by it.
Whenever they are confronted.
To face its reality.
